Read the daily quote from Pope Francis

A recent revision of the PHASE II GUIDELINES to allow gatherings up to 150 persons did not increase our numbers at Our Lady of Good Counsel. The revisions still restrict the possible crowd to 25% of the capacity allowed by the fire code -- which means we are limited to 30 persons at each Mass and will continue our reservation system.

Our Lady of Good Counsel is keeping our normal Mass schedule:

4:00pm on Saturday
6:30pm on Wednesday

There are two ways to reserve: online and by phone.

Be prepared to provide the following information:
your name,  the date and time of the Mass you wish to attend,
the names of all family members who are coming with you,
your email address,
and telephone number.

It is easier for us if you reserve online by clicking here.
You can also CALL the Holy Disciples Parish Office – 253-875-6630
(if after hours, leave a message with Tom O'Brien-Wilson)

  • Anyone experiencing a fever or other symptoms of illness must remain at home and not attend Mass.  Please self-assess prior to coming if you have reserved to attend.
  • To limit exposure, all Masses will be of shorter duration and without public singing.
  • Parishioners are encouraged to bring their own sanitizer for personal use.
  • All parishioners must wear masks while on parish grounds, with exceptions for very young children.
  • Those who are not part of the same household must be seated at least 6 feet apart.
  • Rows shall be blocked off and kept empty to allow for sufficient distancing between rows.
  • The Sign of Peace will be omitted.
  • The distribution of communion shall be in the hand ONLY.
  • Communion from the cup will be omitted.
  • Holy Water fonts will remain empty and covered.

Keep in mind that the Archbishop’s dispensation from attending Sunday Mass is still in effect, whether or not you are ill or vulnerable. This dispensation also covers situations where people are unable to attend because of limitations of available seating, illness, and general risk or vulnerability. Please know that we will continue to record one of our Masses each week (either here at OLGC or at HD) and have it available to you on our website.
