These Community Building Ministries at Our Lady of Good Counsel are listed in alphabetical order.

Coffee Hour

Under the direction of volunteer Dorothy Heseltine, these volunteers staff the kitchen and serve the coffee and delicious home-made edibles after Sunday morning Mass. People can sign up to either serve or bring a plate or two of baked goods to share. Those who serve also need to come a bit early to prepare the coffee and tables, and need to stay afterward to cleanup.  This is a very family friendly ministry.

Lenten Soup Suppers

Help our community practice the traditional Lenten disciplines of fasting, almsgiving, and prayer.  Join the crew that organizes these evening Soup Suppers. Like Coffee Hour, this is one of the ministries that families can do together. 

St. Ann's Altar Society

St. Ann's has been serving the parish for years in a wide variety of ways: hosting Christmas Boutiques and Spring Bazzars to raise money for items used in our Liturgies, arranging for a meal following a funeral in our parish church, meeting regularly for conversation and prayer.  Every woman in the parish is invited to be a part of this amazing group of ladies.    

The silver finsih on the Sanctuary Lamp is a gift to the parish from the St. Ann's Altar Society
